REEAACH!!

OOHH! It is sooooo hard to get this flip-flop off with this life jacket on. I can bearly reach!

I don't know, What you gonna do?

We went to Stone Reservoir today and on the way through Holbrook I saw all these birds just hanging out on the pivot. The pic doesn't even show half of the birds. I just thought this is really cool.

Moral Support

I thought this was just way to cute. She followed him all over the yard while he mowed.

Being a Senior 101

I think it is hectic when the Physics teacher assigns your kid a project like a mouse trap powered car on the first day of school, due the next time you come to class. Luckily we are on a block schedule. But with other classes, football practice, work, young mens, and unnecessary things like eating and sleeping, Paden and Troy were still up til 2 am the day of class getting it done. He ended up 4th of 12 other students. Surprisingly, everyone finished the project although Paden said some didn't even move! The teacher stated he was surprised everyone did it! That is aggravating--was there a choice? I hope the whole year isn't going to be like this, we may cut out the sleeping and eating part!!!

First Day of school! They are excited. I am happy with the teachers they have and I think that the personalities of both teacher and student will go well together. They are excited to wear their new school clothes. This will be the last day (other than special occasions) that Liv will wear any bows. This one is a casualty of the playground. I am sad about that. Emmett really likes to wear his shirts all the way buttoned. It is a little different not having someone home with me.

Twin Falls Temple

This is part of our family with the Twin Falls, Idaho Temple behind us. This was a very beautiful temple! The Granite floors are from India, the wood from Brazil, and the chandeliers from New York. The landscaping was also gorgeous. Dillon is not in the picture he is changing his clothes. He missed the memo that we were gonna take pictures.

Mesa Falls

I forgot to put this one in. On the way home from Island Park we stopped at Mesa Falls. I wish I could take this view home with me. I asked Troy if he could please build me this in our backyard. I wish I could build my house right where we were standing.

OK so you're in for a treat today. Yesterday we went to the Twin Falls Temple open house. On the way home Troy suggested we go to City of Rocks. Why not? School starts on Monday, might as well end summer with a bash. So we climbed to the top of Bath Rock. I should have taken a picture from the ground it is huge. There are about 5 re-bar steps, other that that, it's all you climbing baby! So we got situated, I got the camera ready, then I had 17 blinks on the camera before it takes the pic. What you can't see is the 10 feet of running and a small hop on top of the uneven very dangerous rock (in bare feet, cause I wasn't prepared for climbing up rocks, so I had on fun little shoes) that I had to do to get to the picture. We did this 7 times! I had to get a good picture (I got home to put them on the computer and the first one was the best!!) You can't see that we are about 50-75 feet up. There is also a large hole in front of Troy that collects rain water (hence the name) and a drop off behind Wyatt. Then we had to climb down--worse in my opinion. I am the only one sore today. I am so glad everyone could participate. Afterwards, we went and ate at the little steakhouse down the road. We had a great time!

Family Reunion 2008

Paden on the trail to the lower falls. This is the upper falls.

Liv and Brooke just chillin'

Troy was walking to another view and spied this little waterfall. It was not visible from any other viewpoint other than through this little keyhole in the trees. Smile Livy!!!

This is paradise on earth. This is a close up of the above picture.

Our family with Yellowstone Lake in the background.

Wyatt and Dillon teeter-tottering

Kylee and Liv. This is precious!

Paden's Birthday

Big 17! Paden was being cheered on today by his Family. He got a DS, a game for the DS, and cash (everyones fav!). We are so lucky to have family close enough to share our special occasions.

Happy Birthday Olivia!

Olivia's 7th birthday was fun. She had cousins and Grandpa's and Grandma's there. She got cash, a pen, legos and a build-a-bear.

This picture is on Sunday either before or after church. I can't remember which. We walked to church and my kids really got a kick out of all the dead toads on the road that had been squished by traffic.

It was fun to go to church in Mexico over the 4th of July holiday and sing about America. The Call family visitors doubled primary and almost doubled Sacrement meeting that day, as a lot of folks were out of town.

AAHHH!! Mexico

We had sooooo much fun in Mexico. This is one of my favorite picures of all time! There were toads everywhere. Melissa took this after a family dinner. In my opinion, Liv makes this toad look adorable.

Powerhouse hike the end of June

The end of June we headed up to Powerhouse for a hike. We really had a great time. It is fun to have all the kids old enough to do big things with. It was great in the shade but very warm in the sun.
